Dedicated to the memory of Tracy Emmerson

This site is a tribute to Tracy Emmerson, who was born in Louth on September 11, 1970. Tracy’s life was sadly taken too soon, but there are so many happy memories. We have laughed alot and cried alot over the years. Tracy was the middle sister of 3 with Bev being the eldest and Sophie being the youngest. Tracy lived alot of her early years in Walesby and Binbrook before moving to Market Rasen when she was 12 and I think from starting De Aston School she caused havoc and got into trouble until she left! She worked hard all her life in many places, many will remember her days at the plastic box and chocolate factory. She was very proud when she landed a job at Middlegate Rehabilitation from alcohol and drugs for young adults, it was something close to her heart until they sadly closed down. Many will then remember Tracy working in the Chip Shop, The Swan and Wine Bar in Market Rasen. I think you can definitely say she knew how to have a laugh and a good drink (vodka of course with plenty of ice). She also held her own and never took no shit off anyone!  Tracy had 3 beautiful children Charlotte, Becky and Ben which she loved with all her heart, she worked 3 jobs to provide the best for them and save up to surprise them with their first time abroad in Lanzorote for Christmas. Unfortunately Tracy’s heartbreak began when her marriage broke down and contact was lost with her children. Over the last 8 years her heart partially healed when Becky and Ben came back into her life and was then blessed with two beautiful grandsons Harry and Albi that she loved so much, would do anything for and spoilt them rotten. She loved her Nanny role and baby sitting and the sleepovers. She loved going to the beach with them all with a picnic and even when it was raining, they would eat the picnic out the boot of the car. Many will remember her by her choice of footwear. Where we have sandels for summer and boots for winter NOT our Tracy, FLIPFLOPS for all weathers would be seen on her feet. Tracy also had many sayings that you will all remember her by, usually with swear words but one that stands out was “ FUCK A DUCK “. And im sure if many of you managed to get a photo of her she would be politely showing you her ‘V’ sign on her cheek.

Sadly 3 years ago Tracy was diagnosed with breast cancer and went through removal and chemotherapy without hardly any complaining, she was strong and had fight in her belly. Sadly her cancer had spread but in small areas and even though not curable it was treatable. She had so many good days and bad days but her cancer had not altered. She was looking forward to her 50th birthday this September and visiting Iceland which is something she’d dreamed of. Sadly a few weeks ago they suspected her cancer had spread to her bone marrow which is rare from breast cancer. Unfortunately her blood levels would not hold to be given chemotherapy, so sadly was told there was nothing else they could do. They hoped she would have 3 months to do things she needed to do, but sadly from leaving hospital she only had ten days with us, Tracy still remained the most strongest and bravest woman we know. Our hearts break that we never got any time but our memories we hold close to our hearts.
Please leave your memories of Tracy and any photos that we can all remember and treasure xx

Thoughts

I have many memories of times when Tracy came round to her sisters Bev whilst I was there. It always involved copious amounts of alcohol, many times cocktails for us but always vodka for Tracy. We would all be sat around on Bevs patio just chilling out and enjoying each others company. Tracy will be very much missed and I'm sending big hugs and lots of love to all her family ❤
